Have I been affected by St James' Place?

St James s place have been well known for their high-cost advice and
intricate fee structure often based on strong returns together with high
levels of service. It more recently transpired that they often fell short of their
promised service levels, have many undisclosed fees including high exit
fees and many of their own funds have significantly underperformed. This
has lead to many investors seeking redress for the charges they have
incurred.

If you have or are a St James’s Place customer for your pension or
investments at any time since 31 December 2012 you may be owed
thousands in compensation?

The compensation relates to their service levels and not the performance of
your investments so even if your funds have performed well, you may be
due compensation, if you have not received an annual review or if SJP
have fallen short in other key areas of their service.

In early 2024, St James Place, realised there may be valid legal claims for
refunds of charges and have set aside £426 million for this reason.
